Master Educator Program
The purpose of this course is to prepare professionals for a career as Instructors or Master Educators in the fields of Cosmetology, Esthetics, Waxing and Nails. The course focuses on the duties and responsibilities performed by an Instructor or Master Educator. The program consists of 400 hours of academic, practical and clinical participation training. Potential Instructors are evaluated through tests, performance critiques, progress reports and client evaluations.
The student will learn:
school policies and state laws and regulations
curriculum, course development and lesson plans
classroom management
methods of instruction and teaching techniques
student learning styles, including learning disabilities
teaching aids, development of and administering exams
school administration and record keeping
presentation of theoretical and practical subjects
supervision of clinic
practicum for teaching
exams and test out, mid-term, practical final
