Professional Wax Technician
Waxing is a very popular beauty treatment and is basically a temporary method for hair removal, which takes the hair away at the root to leave the area smooth and hair-free for four to six weeks.
The most popular areas of the body to have waxed are the legs, arms, underarms, and bikini area, however almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, back, and feet.
There are a number of benefits to waxing, including the fact that new hair growth in waxed areas is soft and fine, and not sharp and coarse like the regrowth from shaved hair. In addition, repeated waxing makes hair regrowth less common and eventually some hair never regrows.
It is also important as a wax technician to understand the health and hygiene requirements needed when carrying out waxing treatments.
Our course covers everything you need to know to become a confident Wax Technician and includes the following:
Hygiene, health and safety
Products and equipment required
Consultation procedures
Contraindications to treatment and aftercare for clients
Waxing of eyebrows, face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini line, chest and backs
The course fee includes your Certification of completion necessary for application to the state board for your State License.

This HANDS-ON class will teach you what you need to know to provide professional Brazilian and Speed waxing services. This class can be intense. It deals with sensitive waxing issues. You will learn how to deal with these situations so you can perform this professional service and make your clients feel comfortable. Once you build a Brazilian clientel, they will be your most loyal customers. Prerequisite: Completed Beginning Waxing
